Making the work of communication professionals and service employees in the public sector easier. That is what OBI4wan is committed to in the coming years. According to Harry Schouten, managing director of OBI4wan, it is about three things: identifying developments earlier, gaining an overview faster, and being able to respond more quickly. In other words: “Being able to do more in less time.” What can users expect from the platform in the near future?
Smarter media monitoring: from data to direct insight with Insights
Many organizations still compile monitoring reports manually and analyze large volumes of coverage themselves. OBI4wan introduces Insights: an AI feature that analyzes the data for you, so you don’t have to build extensive dashboards or sift through reports.
In the Media Monitor, you simply ask a question: “What impact does this have on my organization?” or “Where are the peak moments coming from?” and Insights provides you with a clear summary immediately. This shows you the number of messages, the sentiment, when the peak occurred, the most important sources, and a brief interpretation of what is happening.
Would you like to see the details? You can open the full report with a single click. And you can easily share the summary as a PDF with colleagues or management.
More efficient webcare
Harry also sees opportunities within webcare to allow municipalities, housing corporations, healthcare, and educational institutions to work more efficiently. Engage will soon be able to suggest an appropriate response to incoming questions. The employee always remains in control. “The system suggests the answer,” says Harry. “But you still have to press enter.”
Expansions and new partnerships
There are more expansions within Engage, all with the same goal: making it easier for communication professionals and service employees to work from a single platform.
- The integration with Apostle makes it easier for organizations to let employees share content via their own social media channels.
- Data from Polpo regarding voting behavior, motions, and debates gives communication professionals within media monitoring more insight into political developments.
- Thanks to the integration with Keesy, residents can safely continue their conversation from WhatsApp or social media in a secure environment as soon as personal data is required.
- OBI4wan is further expanding existing partnerships with publishers, such as Het Financieel Dagblad. This ensures that media monitoring within Engage continues to grow alongside the sources that matter to communication professionals.
Developing further together
For Harry, these are only the first steps. He also wants to keep customers closely involved in the further development of Engage. “I want to bring our customers even closer to us, involve them more often, and do more great things together. This way, we continue to align with what organizations in the public sector need in practice.”
