Over recent weeks, OBI4wan has been in discussions with X (formerly Twitter) to secure the most comprehensive Enterprise API agreement from the social media platform. This ensures that OBI4wan can continue to deliver seamless integration with Engage. We are pleased to announce the successful renewal of the contract, which allows us to offer our clients uninterrupted continuity in their X integration.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

X remains a sentiment benchmark<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Although the number of overall users may be declining, X continues to be one of the highest\u2011volume channels within Engage in terms of message traffic. Indeed, according to the Dutch Social Media Monitor 2025 by Newcom<\/a>, daily use of X is on the rise again in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Users increasingly turn to X to voice opinions and draw attention to topics via one or more hashtags. As a result, it remains a vital channel for filtering and monitoring news and current events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contract renewal with X<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

OBI4wan has maintained a paid Enterprise agreement with X for many years. With the recent renewal, we retain access to the API that handles message traffic with X for monitoring and\/or webcare purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a significant number of our Engage clients, X serves as an essential source of information for insights and decision making. Within Engage, users can create searches based on relevant themes or campaign content, gaining visibility into search volume, reach and sentiment. Users can also respond proactively to X messages directly from Engage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safe media monitoring with Engage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

OBI4wan indexes over 550,000 different online sources each day for media monitoring including X, Meta platforms, and thousands of blogs, forums and news websites. This data is made available in Engage. Importantly, the data remains the property of the original platforms and OBI4wan adheres strictly to their usage policies. Only data legally permitted to be displayed is shown. If users wish to prevent their X messages from being used for AI training, they can set this preference directly in their own X-account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our software users are assured that displayed data complies with copyright law, GDPR, and the terms and conditions of integrated platforms such as X. OBI4wan also observes limitations regarding the display of personal data; for monitoring purposes, often pseudonymised data suffices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
