Vacancy .NET Developer
Are you passionate about Big Data, scalability issues and/or awesome data visualisations? Then you are the one we’re looking for!
With 1000+ national and international clients that use our tools to support their online- and offline media monitoring, webcare, messaging, social analytics and content publishing, it’s safe to say that we are the market leader when it comes down to media monitoring in the Benelux. Does this sound like an environment you’d like to contribute your talents to?
About the job
As a .NET Developer, you will work in one of our two teams in which you will be focusing on working on our software products such as: Brand Monitor, Social Inbox and Content Calendar. You will built a deep understanding of these products as you work on them.
Our teams operate with Scrum on 2-week sprints. Curious to find out how our cycle is characterised? Please do ask!
Next to working on our products, your activities will also conclude the Service Duty. Internally we have a rotating schedule wherein a member of each team is assigned “service” duty on a week by week basis. Service duty involves walking to the Client Happiness Team to see if there is anything they need, or any bugs that really need urgent attention. This doesn’t replace the service desk JIRA board, but serves to augment communication between the teams and keep information flowing smoothly.

Team Hierarchy and Philosophy
The team works on a relatively flat hierarchy. We are all here because we enjoy what we do, and we want to make something cool! This is something that you are able to (and encouraged to) shape. The team is informal and fun (also one of the company’s core values) and wearing headphones is not the universal “I’m busy, don’t talk to me” signal that you may have experienced before in previous jobs or teams. Ask questions, socialise, and if you need help, just ask for it. We are a friendly bunch, and any one of us will be happy to help you out with whatever you need.
What we offer
- Fitted salary based on previous experiences and gained knowledge.
- A laptop for professional and personal use.
- 25 holidays based on a 40 hour workweek.
- The possibility to follow courses and trainings.
- Being part of mature stacks that involves a lot of new and upcoming technologies.
- Working within a team of enthusiastic and knowledgeable colleagues that are driven to produce high quality code and products.
- Thorough knowledge of .NET, C# and object oriented programming.
- Familiar with software engineering practices such as unit testing, continuous integration, test driven development.
- Knowledge of relational database systems such as MySQL.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Mecurial).
